Why Stir the Water?
In John 5:1-10, a man who had been an invalid for 38 years was waiting by the pool. When the waters were stirred, healing was available. But he had no one to help him into the water. Today, there are many in our community waiting for someone to help them so they can find healing physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Your donation makes the difference!
WHY ARE WE RAISING $40,000?
MOJ was created through a unique partnership with Henderson Hills Baptist Church. Recently implemented church budget cuts necessitated a reduction of the church’s annual support to MOJ. Though we have refined our budget to make it as lean as possible while still fulfilling our mission, there is now a $40,000 gap in funding. Because MOJ is its own separate non-profit entity, we must raise the vast majority of our funds through our own development efforts. This includes securing multiple grants and developing a wide base of individual donors.
